White Water Rafting
Rapids, Rainforest & Pure Costa Rica Adrenaline.
Where the Rainforest Gets Wild
Costa Rica’s rivers cut through some of the country’s most beautiful rainforest, creating an adventure that combines rushing water, tropical scenery, and plenty of adrenaline.
White water rafting gives you a completely different way to experience the landscape. One moment you’re paddling hard through a rapid, and the next you’re floating through a quieter stretch surrounded by dense green forest. With experienced local guides leading the way, you can focus on the fun while learning how to work together as a crew, read the river, and enjoy an adventure that is as much about the journey as the rapids themselves. What to Expect
Your adventure begins at a designated meeting point, where you’ll meet your guides and climb aboard for the ride into the mountains. The drive itself is part of the experience, with changing scenery, rainforest views, and plenty to see before you ever reach the river.
At the launch point, your guides will go over safety, paddling techniques, and what to expect on the water before your group climbs into the raft and starts downstream.
Once you’re moving, the day becomes a mix of exciting rapids and calmer stretches where you can catch your breath, look around, and take in the rainforest, riverbanks, and wildlife along the way.
About halfway through the trip, there’s time to get out, stretch your legs, and visit a waterfall before enjoying a fresh snack prepared for the group.
It’s a great chance to slow things down for a bit, cool off, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings before getting back into the raft for the second half of the run.
By the end, you’ve done much more than ride a few rapids — you’ve traveled through the mountains and rainforest, seen a different side of Costa Rica, and shared one seriously fun adventure with your crew.
What You May See
The river is the main event, but there’s plenty happening around you too.
Waterfalls and rainforest scenery appear along the route, giving you plenty to take in between the rapids.
Tropical birds are often visible along the riverbanks and in the canopy above.
And of course, some stretches are all about paddling hard, getting wet, and enjoying the ride.
